What it does for you:

  • If your phone gets stolen — Guard can't switch these on for you (Android doesn't let any app do that, which is exactly what stops a trojan from switching them off), but it does tell you which ones you're missing and takes you straight to the setting: hiding your codes on the lock screen, being able to locate and lock the phone remotely, the SIM PIN, and the system's anti-theft protection.
  • If someone tries to take over your number — SIM swapping is the scam that defeats SMS codes. Guard reminds you what stops it and where to turn it on: the SIM PIN, a transfer PIN with your carrier, and not relying on SMS for two-step verification.
  • Threat-based security review — 22 checks grouped by what can actually happen to you, with a clear score. Guard honestly separates what it verifies itself from what only you can confirm, and never passes off a check it couldn't run as done.
